Today, it hosts a wide array of cultural institutes, including the Ringling Museum which showcases a mix of old and modern art. It is also the gateway to miles of beaches with some of the finest sand in the world and clear shallow waters. Siesta Key, Lido Key, Anna Maria Island and Bird Key are just a few to name.
When you come to visit this area the beaches, the historical art, the museums and the Botanical Gardens are just a few of the must sees.
Is Sarasota pet-friendly? - Of course! There are so many dog parks, tiki bars and excellent restaurants with outside seating that your lovely fur babies are welcomed with open arms!

Beautiful beaches, and enviable recreational as well as cultural amenities It is known for its vibrant arts community, excellent restaurants, unique shopping, and beautiful sunsets Sarasota. Although a mid-sized city, is considered to be the cultural center of West Central Florida. I do visit here often so I can tell you there is never a dull moment. Beaches are easy to get to. Shopping is everywhere. So many quality restaurants. Living here, Yes there is a style home for anyone. Waterfront communities, HOA, Deed Restricted, Age Restricted. Apartment Complexes. Cottages, Single family homes, Villas, Townhomes, Mansions you name it, Its here. All price ranges all life-styles. This is an area that you can easily work in the same city you reside in as there are endless opportunities for nealry any carreer. So there is a good chance if you live here you work here as well. It is a faster pace enviroment. Sarasota is a hotspot for tourists from all over the world. The city does an amazing job keeping its beauty and planning for future events. There is of course hotels, motels, Inns, Cottages, Airbnb's. Locally. Shopping is never a problem here as they offer everything, there are several retail plaza's as well as the Sarasota Westfield shopping mall. Restaurants not a problem any type of food and flavor you can think of. Sarasota can get quite busy at times as there are vacationers, locals, and some just outside of town residents that all shop here, eat here, and be here all for a good time.
