I am lucky to live in this vibrant neighborhood. One of the things that drew us here nearly 10 years ago was the proximity to EVERYTHING: I can walk to restaurants (Caputos, Tacqueria 27, Mazza!), grocery stores (Emigration Market and Dan's), and natural areas (Wasatch Hollow and the Miller Bird Refuge, with the foothills just a little further!). Since we always choose walking over driving, we also like to venture into Sugarhouse proper, which is just a 30 minute stroll away. The neighborhood is comprised of many original homeowners and a steady influx of younger families. Though we have a tendency to be serial movers, relocating every 5 years or so, it's hard to fathom leaving this area. less
