July 4th Events in East Tennessee
East Tennessee can always be counted on for great patriotic celebrations on the Fourth of July. No matter where you live in our region, you’ll find people celebrating America’s birthday.
Downtown Knoxville-
The Festival on the 4th will include a great variety of fun for everyone! July 4th, 2018 at World's Fair Park - this event takes place from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. This event is RAIN OR SHINE and delivers a wide variety of family fun including entertainment, activities and treats at the City of Knoxville's 4th of July celebration at the World's Fair Park.
Throughout the day festival goers will be treated to good music, good food, good fun and good times on the Festival and Performance lawns of the World's Fair Park.
From 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., The Festival Lawn will be filled with fun activities to please kids of all ages such as miniature golf with Holes to Go and Lego building with Bricks for Kids. Join us at 4 p.m. for some live music on the Festival Lawn and stay through the conclusion of the fireworks display (approx. 10 p.m.).
Oak Ridge-
The Oak Ridge Community Band will put on a concert followed by the annual Oak Ridge City Fireworks Display. Bring your lawn chair or blanket for outdoor seating. Concert begins at 7:30 and is a FREE concert but donations are gratefully accepted to help offset expenses. Fireworks begin at dark, around 9:45 pm. The concert and firework show will take place at A.K. Bissell Park, located at 1403 Oak Ridge Turnpike. For more information, visit www.orcb.org or call 865-482-3568.
Farragut-
Celebrate America at the Annual Farragut Independence Day Parade. The Town of Farragut will host the event, which begins at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 4. Parade route is along Kingston Pike at Stadium Drive to Boring Rd. The 2018 parade features a grand marshal, marching bands, floats, dancers, animals, antique cars and more!
