Thanksgiving in the Napa Valley
It’s hard to imagine a more beautiful place to celebrate Thanksgiving than the Napa Valley. The foliage is turning to reds and golds. The musky smell of crush is in the air. Pumpkins are adorning front porches and plump persimmons hang heavily from the trees. Many of the valley’s best restaurants are in preparation for the Thanksgiving feast, and reservations are going fast for Thursday, November 28.
Thanksgiving Dinner at Boon Fly Café . Enjoy a three-course dinner including a choice of a seasonally inspired soup or salad, a plated entrée of Thanksgiving classics and decadent holiday desserts. Boon Fly Café will serve Thanksgiving dinner along with a limited a la carte menu from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm and will be open for brunch from 7:00 am - 3:00 pm. $65.00 per adult and $32.00 per child (12 years and younger).
Charlie Palmer Steak offers Thanksgiving, the Wine Country way with Executive Chef Francisco Lopez Jr.’s culinary creations. The three-course dinner offers a choice of classic Thanksgiving cuisine or seasonal creations, featuring dishes including roasted butternut squash bisque, Big Glory Bay Salmon with sweet potato puree, sunchokes, and leeks, or pumpkin ravioli with escarole, cauliflower and apples. Dessert treats include sticky toffee with ginger ice cream and caramel sauce, chocolate pecan pie and pumpkin cheesecake with a cranberry-orange compote. Thanksgiving dinner will be served from noon to 7:30 p.m. Pricing is $79 per person and $35 for children 12 and under.
Michelin-starred La Toque within The Westin Verasa Napa will present their 22nd Annual Thanksgiving Feast, offering a selection of seasonal items and classic Thanksgiving dishes with a twist, including their infamous slow-roasted Willie Bird turkey. The four-course Thanksgiving Feast will be served from 1-5 pm. Pricing is $85 per person with an additional $45 per person for optional wine pairings with the three savory courses. Children 10 and under can enjoy a three-course menu at $45 per child.
Bardessono's Lucy Restaurant will offer Thanksgiving dinner on from 11 am – 9 pm. Executive Chef Jim Leiken’s thoughtfully created dishes offer an elevated variation on traditional favorites. With fresh, locally sourced ingredients, menu items include a housemade Rancho Llano Seco honey glazed ham with roasted brussels sprouts, a traditional turkey dinner with sweet potato ‘shepherds pie’, sourdough stuffing, haricots vert, and wild mushroom gravy, and a dessert offering of pumpkin pie, gala apple tart, or vanilla poached pear. Perry Lang 's invites visitors and locals alike to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday, offering selections of pumpkin soup with black trumpet mushrooms, apple and rosemary cream, smoked cured ham, green bean casserole, and an apple crumble dessert with vanilla ice cream and bourbon caramel. Children 12 and under can dine for $20, $65 per person for adults.
Silverado Resort offers Thanksgiving dining in both the Grand Ballroom and The Grill. Enjoy a special Thanksgiving Day Buffet in the resort's elegant Grand Ballroom, featuring an array of traditional holiday dishes such as Sweet Potato Bisque, Honey-Brined Diestel Turkey, Carving stations featuring Prime Tenderloin, Tomahawk Steaks, Herb Roasted New York Strip, and Fall inspired Desserts. Adults are $65 per person and children ages 4 to 12 are $32.50 per person, exclusive of tax and gratuity. Children under three are free of charge. Additional Thanksgiving Day dining options include a special family-style meal at The Grill from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for $49 per person, children aged 3 to 9 are $24.50 per person, exclusive of tax and gratuity.
The Meritage Resort and Spa offers Thanksgiving dinner from 11:30 am to 6:30 pm. Enjoy Executive Chef Vincent Lesage’s seasonal favorites, including herb rolled turkey roulade, truffle turkey breast, crusted prime rib, ciabatta bourbon stuffing, California wine country salads, desserts, and more.
The Napa Valley Wine Train Thanksgiving features all the customary fixings, perfectly prepared in gourmet Wine Train style by world-class Executive Chef Donald Young. Enjoy Honey roasted acorn squash bisque, roasted turkey, savory herb stuffing, and a decadent pumpkin panna cotta. Thanksgiving aboard the Wine Train certainly seems traditional, but there’s nothing conventional about this gourmet feast and the luxuriously vintage setting in which you enjoy it—on an elegant journey through Napa’s stunning fall landscape.
