M. Ryan Gorman is chief executive officer of Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC, a global industry leader with a 115-year legacy of unparalleled customer service, integrity and technological innovation. Under Gorman’s leadership and guidance, Coldwell Banker® has blazed a forward-thinking path into the 21st century. Coldwell Banker has left a defining mark with its Project North star rebrand; developed CBx listing technology powered by big data; empowered agents to build wealth and improve their quality of life with services such as Listing Concierge; partnered with Angi to help consumers sell their houses +25% faster with RealVitalize; created RealSure with Home Partners of America to de-stress the home purchase and sale transaction for consumers; elevated and rebranded its Global Luxury program; supported St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital; and dedicated itself to diversity and inclusion, earning the Women's Choice Award and launching its Inclusive Ownership affiliate program. As CEO of Coldwell Banker, Gorman serves more than 100,000 affiliated agents and nearly 3,000 offices in approximately 40 countries.
Gorman has a long history with Coldwell Banker and its parent company, Realogy. His current duties also include serving as president and CEO of Realogy Brokerage Group (formerly NRT), one of the nation’s largest real estate brokerages with approximately 50,000 independent real estate agents and approximately 700 offices in 50-plus markets – including the company-owned offices doing business as Coldwell Banker Realty. He previously served as NRT’s chief strategy and operating officer and its senior vice president of strategic operations. Earlier in his Realogy career, Gorman was corporate senior vice president and head of strategic development, and led acquisitions across the title insurance, relocation, and technology areas of the firm.
Gorman graduated with honors from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in his beloved Philadelphia and has held advisory and principal investment roles with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Credit Suisse, and The Blackstone Group. Gorman is a self-professed urban planning geek, intrepid bicycle commuter, husband to his high school sweetheart, and father to three incredible humans.
