Angus McDougal is an Ann Arbor native who has spent over a decade living abroad, mostly in mainland China. He grew up in a family with a passion for restoring old houses, so he worked as a carpenter during summers in college while studying Art and Chinese. After graduation, he lived in New York City where he became a partner in an award-winning restaurant, and founded a popular wine shop. Later, when a good opportunity to sell out of his businesses came along, he took the opportunity to return to his collegiate fields. He took a job offer at an architecture firm in Beijing, which led to 8 years of living and working in China as an artist and builder for a wide range of companies.

Shortly after getting married in 2018, his wife was offered a job at the University of Michigan and he returned home to Ann Arbor. The perspective gained from living and traveling abroad enabled Angus to experience the city with new eyes and reinforced an even greater appreciation for his hometown than he had as a kid. When he's not cycling, walking his dogs, or making art, he's laboring alongside his wife, fixing up their 19th-century farmhouse west of town. His attention to detail and customer centric ideology create a bespoke home buying/selling experience that delivers excellent results and ecstatic clients.
