My Client Reviews
A friend recommended Hazel Cardenas at Coldwell Banker to be our real estate broker and we are so happy with the outcome she helped us achieve it is our honor to give her a five star rating. She is a very positive person, who really listens well. That is a quality that is not always given enough credit when choosing someone to work with in any capacity, let alone the sale of a home, which is a very complicated task that requires a varied skill set, and a high degree of cooperation. She listened to our ideas in developing the marketing plan she devised that included social media and her creative and welcoming video that presented the home to the marketplace. Her marketing plan included a nautical staging concept that highlighted our location next to the marina and was very cost effective and not overdone. The assistance she provided in obtaining the movers, contractors for painting, fix up and cleaning went above and beyond what I would expect from most agents. This pandemic presented challenges for us in being around to help coordinate all of this and she was our eyes and ears in the process that was seamless and resulted in a sales price substantially over the listing price. She really nailed the value of the home even though the comparables didnt reflect the recent upward changes in the market or the unique attributes of our property. Her knowledge of the market helped us make the correct decision as to which offer to accept. To say that she was a professional is an understatement, and her people skills and can do attitude made working with her a delight. The responsive team she utilized for the processing of the sales transaction was top notch and like her really good to have involved. Thank you Hazel for being such a competent and effective real estate sales agent who answered all our questions and helped to ease the stress of moving from our home. You made this transaction go so well I am really pleased to give you this review. It is great pleasure that I would give a personal recommendation or answer questions from any future client who may want to utilize your services.

You've most likely heard the rule: Save for a 20-percent down payment before you buy a home. The logic behind saving 20 percent is solid, as it shows that you have the financial discipline and stability to save for a long-term goal. It also helps you get favorable rates from lenders. But there can actually be financial benefits to putting down a small down payment—as low as three percent—rather than parting with so much cash up front, even if you have the money available.THE DOWNSIDEThe downsides...
