Katelyn approaches every transaction with an innate entrepreneurial mindset and can-do attitude. She was fortunate to inherit these fine qualities from her mother, Nora Partlow, a successful realtor and businesswoman in Alexandria, and her mentor in the residential sales industry. Being a local gal, Katelyn is most familiar with Alexandria, Arlington and Fairfax but will go anywhere you want to be in Northern Virginia. She was born in Alexandria, raised in Arlington, and currently lives in West Alexandria with her partner Carl and dog Hoagie.
"I enjoy helping first-time homebuyers as well as millennials looking to invest in real estate," says Katelyn, who also offers estate liquidation, staging and home organizing services. "My goal is to demystify the home buying process," she continues. "It's a big commitment, but I want people my age, and at any age just getting started, to know they are capable of doing it with ease. Whether finding your forever home or building wealth through real estate investment, I'll make the process smooth, informative and rewarding."
A George Mason University graduate with a major in Sustainable Community Development, Katelyn went on to excel in event production management, curation and marketing. She spent over a decade in the field from Los Angeles to Washington, D.C., gaining a keen eye and invaluable understanding of how space affects people, and how an environment can have a lasting impact. Katelyn is very creative with how to best style and utilize a space to live in or showcase to sell; plus she's highly detail-oriented, organized and communicative. Her endearing personality and penchant for service shine through in every interaction.
As a Cuban-American, Katelyn speaks both English and Spanish fluently. She sits on the Board of Directors at The Puppet Co. based in Glen Echo Park, and likes thrifting and DIY projects in her free time. You can also often find her out directing a photo shoot or singing karaoke with friends.
