Born in Portsmouth, VA, and raised in Alexandria, Debra studied Finance at Norfolk State University and Information Systems at Northern VA Community College. She held several highly detail-oriented and interfacing positions, first at U.S. Bankruptcy Court in D.C. in the roles of finance, training, quality control, and courtroom operations. Debra additionally worked as a data administrator/trainer at Urban Institute, and in customer service, finance, and training in the Health & Safety Division at American Red Cross for 10 years. Since 2014, she has run her own senior services business, Golden Years Senior Services, which provides non-medical services to senior citizens.
For the past two decades, Debra has called the Newington Commons neighborhood in Lorton, VA home. She is very well-versed in the area, plus has lived in the Del Ray section of Alexandria, and in the South County and Belle View areas of Fairfax County, VA as well.
Real estate is her passion, yet family is her years. The youngest of seven children, Debra has a twin brother, a beautiful daughter Ashely, and sweet baby granddaughter Novah she adores spending time with. All sort of sports and water activities are her favorite activities, from swimming and fishing to days at the beach.
