After earning a BA at Boston University, Daryl returned to his hometown of Chicago to earn an MBA at the University of Illinois, majoring in Finance and Entrepreneurial Studies. Harvesting the "entrepreneur" focus of his schooling, Daryl's career took the direction of opening and operating several Quik Serve Restaurant concepts over the course of 14 years. During this period he became a bit of a mid-Atlantic transient, posting residence in DC, MD, VA and PA at one time or other.
With increasing involvement in restaurant development, in addition to his own many moves, Daryl learned to capitalize on his interest and knowledge in real estate, both commercial and residential. He's learned the inherent and long-term value that real estate ownership adds to a deal and overall success of a restaurant or other business concept, and generally speaking, to the creation of wealth. Daryl decided to get his Real Estate license in Illinois to compliment his degrees, then later, obtained licenses in DC, MD and VA as well.
