What makes me different?
The answer is because I understand that it's all about you. You're moving. I can relate. I've crisscrossed the country for my husband's job, uprooting my children at various stages of school, and sold my home 6 times For Sale by Owner (FSBO) all while holding down my real job as a business systems analyst working remotely from home. I'm not wonder woman, though sometimes I look back and think perhaps at times I may have shared a few of her qualities. The point is, I've been there and I understand the emotional and business aspects of upsizing, downsizing, and the move.
I've told you the answer, because I understand it's all about you. The question is, What makes me different from other realtors? Without your current situation, you wouldn't be looking for a realtor. I understand this and I want you to benefit from my experiences. This isn't just words on paper. It's how I interact with my clients. Having handled my own personal real estate transactions including:
- selling FSBO (for sale by owner) 6 times
- management of 3 rental properties
- and a successful 1031 tax exchange
I started my life's second career by delving deeper into an area that I had been dabbling in for 20 years. I expanded my knowledge of the real estate industry even further, formalized my training, and became a licensed real estate agent.
Business Analyst turned Realtor
Prior to becoming a licensed real estate professional, I was a business analyst in the eCommerce industry for over 18 years. Having worked with users across various company departments to understand their work processes and business needs to define system requirements for a successful on-boarding to our software management systems, I excel in information gathering to understand your wants and needs for the sale or purchase of your home or in finding your next investment property. I am extremely well organized and detail oriented with a drive to succeed; a problem solver who enjoys making things go smoothly.
Lean on Me
I am also a mom and a wife, which means I nurture, motivate, and listen to encourage others in their goals. Buying or selling a home is very much a business transaction, but also an emotional decision. You can lean on me to help you get prepared, work through pros, cons and keep these decisions from becoming overwhelming.
As your real estate connection, my success is defined 100% by your complete satisfaction in my handling of your real estate needs.
More about me
Our family currently resides in the back of a quaint little cove on the South shore of Lake Lanier. We've got all the water toys and I'm on-board if you want to see lake homes by jet ski or pontoon on a warm summer day. If it's a Friday evening in the summer, come join us for a raft-off happy hour event by the dam and we can chat about lake property! As soon as cooler weather hits, Friday happy hours are replaced with high school football. If you are in the area, come root for the home team!
We landed in metro Atlanta in the summer of 2014 via the winding route of Florida, North Carolina, and Colorado. Straight lines are boring. We are an active family with a love of the outdoors, which may have played a part in all the places we've called home. Our interests include scuba diving (I got the whole family certified!), hiking, white water rafting, boating, tubing, wake boarding, jet skiing, driving in the mountains (think mini cooper and fun roads) and downhill skiing. Basically, if it's a sport where you can go fast or see into a whole other world, we're in.
