Marilyn's extensive real estate career initiated in 1981, when she affiliated herself with Coldwell Banker. During her tenure there, she was selected as one of three agents, statewide, responsible for coordinating the opening of offices in multiple Sears locations. Building on her early success as an agent, Marilyn began selling custom homesites for the Irvine Company in the mid '80s. During a five-year period in the mid '90s, Marilyn succeeded in closing $100 million in transactions in new custom home sales. Her accomplishments are recognized throughout the region; in April of 2001, Marilyn was listed as one of Orange County's top producers in the Orange County Business Journal.

In the course of selling over 145 custom homesites for the Irvine Company, Marilyn gained familiarity with such exclusive neighborhoods as Harbor Ridge, Harbor Hill, Fairway One at Big Canyon, Irvine Cove Crest, and Turtle Rock Crest. Dealing almost exclusively with high-end custom homes, she has also worked closely with architects and contractors as well as buyers and sellers, garnering invaluable insight into all areas and complexities of real estate transactions. This experience now proves invaluable to her clients. She additionally sold homes for custom homebuilders in some of the County's most prestigious areas, including Newport Hills Estates, Coto de Caza and Newport Coast.Her phenomenal success can be attributed not only to her specialized expertise, but also to her unique brand of client service. As a seller of custom homes, Marilyn understands the importance of establishing trusting and lasting relationships with all parties involved. Marilyn also credits much of her success to her family, many of whom are accomplished real estate professionals, sales, and marketing gurus. Inspired by her father, one of Dale Carnegie's top international speakers and teachers, Marilyn graduated from the Dale Carnegie course when she was just 18. She then went on to complete the Xerox sales training courses, launching into what would become a highly motivated and successful sales and marketing career.
