I realize that most people will not miss their real estate agent when the deal is done, but we have been through a lot together since you took on the task of selling my moms condo after her death. I thank you for being the consummate professional before, during, and up to closing on the condo this past week. You so wonderfully managed my expectations for the entire process, including the paperwork, disclosures, and going to escrow. But the kicker for me working with you was how often you went above and beyond being just a real estate agent. You helped me identify and engage the team necessary to get the condo on the market and ready for the sale. That team included vendors and professional services people such as painters, floor and carpet removal, estate sale, and auction folks. For me, all of the connections you helped me with were so beneficial since I live across country and could not be on the ground at the condo very often. I am particularly appreciative of the times you were at the condo when I could not be. Through all of that we got to know one another and had some laughs. So yes, I will miss you. After firing 3 agents because of their laziness, I guess I have to put it that way, I was skeptical about even hiring another. When I came upon Feliza by accident, she promised me that she would show me what a real realtor is all about, I thought, suuuuure. I was pleasantly surprised that I was wrong. She treated me like I was her only client. She walked me through every step, took on all the headaches, kept me informed every step of the way, and made this whole thing very painless and comfortable. I can refer her to all my friends and family with 100% confidence.

Ziprealty's website and user friendly navigation was a great experience. I really enjoyed working with the website. The only issue I had with the whole experience was my agent. I had a pre-assigned agent who in my opinion should not even be working in a customer/social oriented industry. She is awkward, rude, curt, and just has poor presentation. She doesn't know how to talk to her client, nor does she know how to talk to other agents. With all due respect, I was embarrassed to be seen with her. Not to mention, she never really provided information. I was referred to the website several times, and towards the end, I just didn't even ask her questions anymore. Also, she doesn't represent her clients well nor does she fight for them. She almost cost us $7,400 in credit towards our selling price which I remedied by writing a letter to the seller. I just got tired of her inability to perform and then to articulate what we needed her to convey since she provided no guidance what so ever. We almost dropped her several times but the only thing that kept me staying was was 20% rebate. My only recommendation is, please screen your agents. Although we have several agents in this world, not everyone is meant to be in this industry. She does NOT represent your company well. Its left a very bad taste in our mouths even though I enjoy your website, find it useful, and informational. Lastly, if you need to do other reference checks about this agent, Feliza Kohan, I suggest you speak to our Sr. Escrow Manager, Yolanda from Allan Erdy Escrow located in Sherman Oaks, and Cathy Bretlinger from E-Loan. Both individuals had a very hard time working with her. When I went to sign the loan docs at the escrow company, Yolanda and I had a conversation about Feliza and how difficult its been to work with her because she really has no idea what she's doing. Shes great! It was a hard struggle with trying to get my load but we did it!!!

I was impressed with Ms. Kohan's responsiveness to all of my calls and questions. She was extremely accessible and I felt as though she was always looking after my interests. Importantly, she was honest and gave me realistic and useful information. A hard worker and a true professional, it was a pleasure to work with Ms. Kohan and I highly recommend her.

Didn't feel that our agent always represented our interests; felt like the Seller (who was also a Real Estate agent) were working together. After the sell completed, when I mentioned that the closing costs were way more than I had anticipated our lender said that in most of his transactions the seller picks up some of the closing costs of the transaction but that did not appear to be the case in our loan. We (my husband and I as well as our broker) had no choice in the escrow company used for the purchase and the final closing costs for that loan were more than the costs of our refinance loan which was a larger loan than the purchase. The seller chose the escrow company and we were not informed of any options to choose a different escrow company; which would definitely have been our preference given the poor service of that seller-selected escrow company. Although the agent was personable enough and looked into a number of properties for us; during the "offer" process it seemed that we were always being encouraged to increase our offers.
