About me

    I’m Danny Barrett, VP/Sales & Branch Manager for Coldwell Banker United, Lake Conroe office in Montgomery, Texas. I’m a noncompeting manager, which means I don’t sell against my agents. Instead, I run a friendly, customer service oriented office that supports, trains, coaches and mentors agents, with a focus on their success and our client’s needs.

    I was born and raised in Houston and have over 40 years marketing communications and management experience. I spent over 20 years with Cameron, a world class oil and gas manufacturing company as Creative Director and Manager for their in-house ad agency. Prior to joining Coldwell Banker in 2013, I spent 13 years as Director of Property Marketing for CBRE, Inc., the world’s largest commercial real estate firm. I’m a creative, strategic thinker, and I use my knowledge and expertise to help agents and clients develop and fulfil their goals.

    I was a successful agent in the Lake Conroe office, before becoming Branch Manager. I understand new agents, just starting out, need assistance, assurance and guidance. Seasoned agents need less day-to-day direction, but seek assistance and coaching on how to take their business to the next level. I realize the importance of a friendly and collaborative office dynamic geared for growth.

    I admit I’m a bit of a “tech hound”. I’ve been at the forefront of technology for the last 25 years. While at CBRE, our team developed, packaged and rolled out, many of the same types of online, interactive, web based and mobile technologies Coldwell Banker uses today. Understanding these technologies helps me lead and train agents on how to use technology to enhance their business. I like Coldwell Banker, because their tools and resources are designed for today’s business and tomorrow’s possibilities. They invest heavily so their agents and staff can stay ahead of the technology curve, and be positioned for top performance in today’s global environment.
