I grew up in the areas of Coconut Grove, South Miami, and Suniland (what is now Pinecrest), and have never lived anywhere else. After serving 27 years in the Miami-Dade Police Department and retiring honorably, I began my real estate career with Coldwell Banker, in the award-winning Pinecrest office.
I raised three children here in south Florida, all of them going to Palmetto Senior High, where I graduated as well. The Pinecrest and South Miami neighborhoods are my back yard, and I know them intimately.
Most of my time in law enforcement was in investigations. Real estate and investigations actually have a lot in common. They are both about working with people, learning about their motivations, and helping them solve problems. That's why I love this profession. I meet new people every day and learn about what they need and why. When I can be part of their solution, that's immensely fulfilling to me.
I have a love for the ocean, having spent a great deal of time on my father's boat on Biscayne Bay, the Keys, and the Bahamas as a youngster. I'm also an avid pro football fan, and I love anything outdoors-- camping, hiking, or just visiting out-of-the-way places. My big "why" is my family. My wife and six kids are my world, and there is nothing I enjoy more than spending time with them.
