Originally from the Bronx, New York and moving several times until settling in Sarasota, I have gained an understanding of what it takes to relocate and buy a home. While working full time, I completed a master's degree in reading education from Long Island University. Immediately following this, I continued at Loyola Marymount University College in enhanced teaching strategies and multidisciplinary educational approaches.
My passion is my work, and I want my Buyers and Sellers to feel that their expectations are met above and beyond. My experiences have demanded acute listening skills, time management, creative solutions, an innovative mind set, and an innate understanding of what moves consumers. Also, as a Middle School Reading Specialist, as well as an Adjunct Professor at a local college coaching teachers and students to master English communications, I have a strong sensitivity and a deep understanding of human nature. This carries over in my real estate profession with my clients. My career pathway has also included serving as a computer teacher and a technical support assistant, a Medical Secretary in NYC, and -- a Realtor with Better Homes and Gardens in Monroe, New York.
My passions include giving back to my community, enjoying life, and spending time with loved ones and friends. Reading classes to adults at a local library, mentoring at risk children, and coaching cheerleading to children with disabilities are a few personal commitments. In leisure time, I am passionate about cooking, especially meatballs and homemade pasta, loving my furry pets, hiking, reading and writing, hanging out with my friends, caring for my family, and playing with my granddaughter. I would like to add that residing in Sarasota brings me added joys of walking on the beach, shopping at the Farmer's Market, bicycle riding on the Legacy Trail, and dining in delightful restaurants.
