Raised in a family of real estate professionals, Kate learned at a young age that a life well lived is the sum of the decisions we make. Her extensive educational and business pursuits imparted the importance and value of contextual decision-making, work ethic and relationship building and preservation. Residential real estate choices are personal and finding the right mix in a partnership to find or sell a house is imperative.

A residence is a necessity in one's life whereas a home is a love in one's life. It is where memories are made and life is documented. For more than 25 years, Kate has written her "home love story" in the Beach Park neighborhood of South Tampa. She continues to make memories with her neighbors and family in her 1923 home which she has renovated over the years to capture her family's story. Kate loves Tampa Bay, finding it large enough to get lost yet small enough to enjoy community.

Kate's appreciation for building details, architecture and design stems from the love of the Colonial homes of her childhood town of Litchfield, CT; her study of architecture and art history in Florence, Italy while she received her bachelor's degree in Psychology from Simmons College; and her work in real estate sales in Boston's Back Bay for several years after college before she attended law school.

Kate was a successful employment law advocate for fifteen years. She decided to enrich her and her daughter's life stories by turning an imaginative idea into a creative business. She sold her law office building and created Silly Dilly's at The Enchanted Spot in South Tampa, helping families celebrate their stories and life events. Kate continues to run her storybook gift shop and event parlors as it is an integral part of the community. Many children have attended Kate's Kindful Mouse Manners Workshop and have read her children's book, The Pirates' Fixable Teeth.

Deciding to forge ahead and become a licensed real estate sales professional again, Kate brings with her a love of architecture and planning, real estate acumen, community familiarity, and her life and work experiences. Her business goal is to expand her role in families' important life decisions of buying and/or selling their homes; whether it be a primary or secondary residence or investment property. It was an easy decision for Kate to choose Coldwell Banker as her brokerage firm given their investment in their agents to fully serve the needs of their clients.
