Cindy Hummer

My father, a retired homebuilder, often pondered the fact that he raised three sons, but it was I, his daughter, who followed his footsteps into custom home construction. Working with my father, I learned every aspect of home construction, beginning with design then carrying through to hands-on construction experience. Since moving to Pinellas County in 1974, my passion for homes has kept me on the path of home building and home restoration. After twenty years experience in the home building industry, I turned to residential and commercial restoration, working as a project manager for a large flood and fire restoration company. Restoring a home that had suffered an unexpected loss, such as fire or flood, was both challenging and rewarding. My first meeting with the homeowner involved consoling and reassuring, and my last day was one of celebration for the return of a beautifully restored home to the owner. My leisure time is spent with walks or drives to view homes and neighborhoods. Seasonal home tours are at the top of my list for fun weekend activities. It only seems natural that my passion for homes should lead me to a career in real estate consulting. I know houses from top to bottom, from inside out, and I love the simple pleasures of a small bungalow in a quaint neighborhood to the grandeur of a marble floored waterfront home. My heritage is home building, my passion is homes, my wish is that you will trust me to assist you in your real estate needs.
