Valerie was born and raised in the Eastern part of France, on the border with Switzerland and Germany. She went to college in Lyon for 4 years and in Nice for her MBA specializing in Hospitality Management and Resort Development. She lived in Paris and Manhattan during some internships with the French Government Tourist Office and the Relais & Chateaux Hotel chain headquarter. She traveled and worked in Australia in 1995 where she met her American husband. They moved to the Bay Area, first in Menlo Park and Los Gatos, and finally settled in Danville 20 years ago. They have 2 boys who went to Green Valley, Los Cerros and now Monte Vista High School. Valerie started a successful French tutoring business when the children were little and decided to go into real estate full time when both kids were in elementary school. Love working for sellers and buyers in the residential real estate market in the Bay Area ( and even Tahoe west shore, Sacramento, and Granite Bay) with emphasis on Danville, Alamo, Walnut Creek, and San Ramon. Valerie has recently joined Coldwell Banker to partner with fellow European agent Terri Silva who has been working in real estate for over a decade as well.
The joy of presenting a house under its best angle, marketing it, and entering negotiations with the contract is what the business is truly about when representing sellers. Finding the house, working with the right lender, not leaving any stone unturned, being present at inspections and studying the reports while protecting buyers and negotiating a fair contract is what is all about when representing buyers. Valerie enjoys working with both with an emphasis on unique properties and luxury. un certain "je ne sais quoi"....If one has any questions about real estate, she is always happy to answer "how is the market doing?"
Real estate at an Artisan level of quality with dedicated service is what Valerie is all about.
Talk to you soon, a bientôt,
