In my role as a business owner, I led and managed two successful companies in real estate and insurance. I hired, trained and supervised a staff of 17 agents. We worked with different insurance companies using their proprietary software. As the business owner, I oversaw all aspects of the business from inventory control, sales report preparation, sales analysis, market strategy, sales schedule organization and planning. In addition to having knowledge of the real estate and insurance industries, my managerial experience is vast, and I pride myself on being able to connect and relate well with people.
In addition to my strong managerial skills, I am an excellent communicator who can make a connection with people using empathy and knowledge, negotiation skills and persuasion if necessary. I am adept at listening, explaining things simply and easily allowed me to assist both the clients and the sales team as required, My ability to be organized with official documents, files and personal information as well as my strong multi-tasking and customer service skills enabled me to make sales and earn placement in the Top 10 Cross-Sales Agents in the central Venezuelan region 4 years in a row.
Five years ago, I made the exciting decision to take the next step in my career goal and challenge myself to learn English and get my Real Estate license in the United States and continue to grow as a professional.
I gained valuable language skills through my studies at City College, progressing from a beginning to an advanced level of course work.
I have enjoyed my work as an Airbnb host, where I have gained cultural and technical knowledge of guest relations and customer service in the US. I speak fluent Spanish.
