Sally was holding her first open house, while unbeknownst to her a top-level digital media executive was attending open houses that day, not in her interest to buy a house but for the purpose of secretly interviewing realtors. A few days later, the executive called Sally and told her of her undercover mission and invited Sally to meet with her on listing her home. The end result was the sellers left for their new jobs in Europe, Sally had the home beautifully staged and received multiple offers, closing at an advantage to the seller. The next door neighbor noted all of the activity-the staging, the open houses, the shoveling snow in business attire, and the success of the closed sale and also became a client. Sally also sold that home with two offers, and the rest is history. The largest component of Sally's business is from referrals.
