Aaron & Susan Cena are a husband & wife real estate team, living and raising our two children in beautiful Mt. Shasta. Aaron was born here and is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys anything outdoor related; fishing, camping, mushroom hunting and metal detecting.

    Susan moved to Mt. Shasta before she was a year old and enjoys flower gardening, Zumba, hiking, mushroom hunting, the closeness of the community and the many opportunities to spend quality time with family and friends. Susan proved her mettle when she was diagnosed with breast cancer in early 2016. After a long battle, she's cancer free and enjoying living in the moment and appreciating the little things that are so easy to take for granted.

    Their kids, Jeremy and Lindy, attended local schools, and quite often were taught by the same teachers who taught Aaron & Susan. Jeremy lives in Mt. Shasta and works in the McCloud area at Willow Creek Ranch. Jeremy is lucky to work outdoors with the animals he loves. Lindy recently graduated from Sonoma State University with dual Bachelor degrees, and moved to the Portland area to try out "big city living".

    My Experience

    • I became licensed and started working as a full-time realtor in 2006, right about the time the housing crash started to have an effect on Siskiyou County. I work as a team with my wife, Susan, who's also a full-time realtor. The next several years weren't easy, but I think that they taught me lessons and created habits that make me a better realtor. I learned to work harder than the other agents and developed a comprehenseive and effective marketing plan. I pioneered the use of video walk-thru's of my listings. I learned to listen closely to my clients needs and how to operate in order to achieve my clients goals. I have had a successful career in real estate because I've proven to consistently place my clients welfare as a top priority, and that's resulted in a stack of testimonial letters from past clients, repeat business from clients, and personal referrals. The best advice I can give to someone looking for a realtor is to "interview" your realtor, in person if possible, but at least over the phone. Talk with more than one realtor, and choose the one that you feel displays integrity, honesty and commitment. The relationship between you and your realtor is too important to pick the first realtor that pops up on an internet search.
