Where do I even start. From the beginning of our journey together, Amy Solis has been wonderful. When we were just toying with the idea of selling our home long before we were really ready to do so, we had Amy come over to give us an idea of what we were looking at in terms of the housing market and the whole process. I remember calling her during a holiday week where you wouldn't expect many people to allow work to come into their minds. I fully expected to get her voice mail but was pleasantly surprised by Amy's live human voice. Even though she was out of town with family she still took the time to take my call, chat for a bit and arranged to contact me after the holiday. In a world where it seems customer service is lost, it is nice to do business with someone so conscientious about human interaction. She came over as promised as soon as she was back in town. I really appreciated her friendliness, knowledge and ability to make you feel at ease and also instill confidence in her abilities as a real estate agent. It would be some time before we listed our home with Amy but she kept in touch with us without ever making us feel any sort of pressure to list. Because our situation was unique with two homes on a lot and geared more for multi-family use and not a first time home buyer, it took longer than we had hoped to sell. Even so, Amy always touched base with us even when there was no news to report. She was always working behind the scenes on something to promote the sale of our home. We would all love our homes that we have put so much loving care into for so many years to be worth the fortune we feel it should be, but that being said, your home is worth only what someone else is willing to pay for it. Amy was always realistic with her input in this aspect of the process without pressuring us. This is important because over inflated ideas of what your home will sell for in whatever market you are dealing with, even though it may make you feel good, won't necessarily sell your home. (We learned this the hard way and it cost us a lot of valuable time.) From good communication in our very first telephone encounter, to open houses, her trustworthiness, helpful advice, negotiations and genuinely caring about us, Amy worked very hard and really went well above and beyond in all areas to sell our home. With all of the emotional ups and downs of selling your home and moving, you need someone that will do their best to make it a positive experience. Amy Solis has not only been a wonderful real estate agent but I'm happy to say that she has also become my friend.
