I believe that in order for the community to know about my character and my hard work ethic more completely, I should give a short description of my life not only as a realtor but also as a family man, as a community member, as a student and, of course, as a realtor.

AS A FAMILY MEMBER I met my wife, Maria Lourdes, while attending Cal State University Northridge. She recently retired from the Los Angeles School District as a school teacher. We've been married since 1982. My son, Ernesto, graduated from UC. Berkeley. He is now an attorney and works for a non-profit organization. My daughter, Sara, received her BA from Cal State University Northridge in 2020. She's currently working on her master's degree at Cal. Lutheran University. She is working to become an academic college advisor.

AS A STUDENT AND AS A SCHOOL TEACHER I studied English as a Second Language as well as courses needed for a high school diploma at Reseda Adult School during the night while working during the day. I received my high school diploma from the same school in 1973. Reseda Adult School awarded me a scholarship to attend Cal State University Northridge where I graduated with honors in 1978. After graduating from the university, I worked as a credentialed school teacher for LAUSD from 1979 to 1989. In 1987 I acquired my real estate license.

AS A COMMUNITY MEMBER Being a realtor and serving my community go hand in hand. I am a firm believer of giving back to the community. I am active in the organization MEND (Meet Every Need with Dignity) and during the year periodically organize food drives and donate my time to help prepare food boxes for families in need. I enjoy participating in organized community events as master of ceremonies or participating in Christmas parades, etc. I have organized Christmas Carols and Posadas (Christmas plays). I have organized The Spring Garage Sales Event for neighbors to participate. I have organized Christmas gift drives for needy students at three different community schools since 1981 to the present. During all these years, I've always enjoyed being the children's "Santa".

AS A REALTOR I have worked in the San Fernando, Santa Clarita and Antelope Valley since 1987. Thanks to my hard work and dedication I have been blessed to have closed many transactions and have hundreds of happy clients. I consider personal contact with the public very important in order to provide the best service to my clients. I always keep in contact with my past clients and most of my transactions stem from the relationships that I have built with them. Referrals also come from the people that know me as a result of my community involvement.

I am proud of being a husband, a father, a very active member of my community and a member of Coldwell Banker, the oldest and one the most trusted companies in the world. Several years ago, my former assistant Bryan Almeida, acquired his real estate license and then, his broker's license and is presently my business partner. He's a well mannered, hardworking and a very intelligent young man. He has great technological abilities and a great future. Bryan and I are here to serve you in your real estate needs.
