I love houses. The whole idea of where we live intrigues me. I don't view a home as just a box to put our stuff in. I see it as an expression of ourselves as humans. Some folks just need a box to put their stuff in for a few years. I can work with that. Others are looking for something more permanent, a place they want to come home to and will cherish. Those homes are harder to find but the reward is greater.
I enjoy helping clients find and move into their next home. I recognize that moving and selling can be a very difficult operation. I work hard to ease the tensions inherent in the process and to offer expert advice - and even labor where appropriate. There is so much more to selling a home than just listing it. Most homes need some smartening up, if only just painting a few walls to maximize the results. I know what helps homes sell in our current market and I pass that knowledge along to my clients.
I have been a Seattle Realtor for over 20 years and I enjoy it. My business is almost entirely referral-driven. Past clients love me and always ask me to help their friends. I am a member of the Navy Federal Team, and as a Senior Real Estate Specialist, I am trained to address the unique needs and concerns of older clients. Many times, a home is the largest asset my clients have. This is no time for a novice.
Having remodeled several of my own houses and acting as general contractor for the home my wife and I now live in, I know that construction experience has been key in helping to spot a good home or one that is more challenging. As your broker, I will listen to you and help you find the home that best suits your needs. Buying and selling real estate in the Seattle area is pretty hectic right now. I have the skills and expertise to market your property appropriately, in a manner that will maximize your return and minimize your investment of time.
In my "off hours" I play with vintage cars. Many of my listings have an old Porsche as part of the staging.
