Born and raised in California, I worked in Oncology at
California Cancer Associates for Research and Excellence for 7 years, however in 2019
problems and serving those in need brings me joy and fulfillment. . Connecting with others, solving
In 2006, I was awarded with both
Presidential Honors and Perfect Attendance, as well as a Certificate of
Accommodation from the Mayer of Escondido, CA for my volunteer services.
Following my graduation, I was invited to join the Review Board for Medical
Assistants where I reviewed curriculums, toured campuses and participated in
the placement and hiring of new medical staff, which I continued to do so until
I moved to Washington.
Having a career in healthcare provided me with the training
and skills needed to excel in any career. Delivering having difficult conversations, negotiating,
reassuring, and keeping detailed records were only a few of the daily
activities I was responsible for. During my career, I assisted with expanding
the Nuclear Medicine and Imaging Department for California Cancer Associates
for Research and Excellence, including opening a second location to serve North
County San Diego patients. I am passionate about my community and hope to
continue to serve and give back to all I encounter.
